Dear Members and Friends

Titled "The Business of Living Longer and Well", the session will discuss the macro implications of Ageing for the government, society and businesses; requisite transformation of our healthcare system; new business opportunities and innovative models that government-industry can evolve; and what next Singapore should undertake.

We are delighted to have the following Distinguished Speakers in the panel:

-  Prof Tan Chorh Chuan, inaugural Chief Health Scientist and concurrently

Executive Director of the new Office for Healthcare Transformation, Ministry of Health

-  Ms Janice Chia, Founder & Managing Director, Ageing Asia Pte Ltd

-  Ms Ivy Lai, Country Manager Philips Singapore and CFO Philips ASEAN Pacific

-  Ms Mary Ann Tsao, Chairman and Founding Director, Tsao Foundation.

The Moderator will be Professor Gerard George, Dean and Lee Kong Chian Chair Professor of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, SMU.

The Series is an initiative undertaken by The EDB Society in response to the Future Economy Report and Singapore's aspiration to move towards a value-creating economy. It is organised with Singapore Management University SMU and supported by the Economic Development Board.  The Series celebrates inspiring entrepreneurs and industry leaders; draws insights on how they respond to disruptive forces that are changing the corporate landscape; and explores how Singapore can exploit opportunities arising from megatrends and growth themes.
